TRIAD Award

The award provides a critical platform for artists on the cusp of greatness to promote contemporary visual arts. The award is a yearly prize, presented to an emerging or mid-career contemporary visual artist.

The participants are selected by TRIAD’s Curatorial Committee consisting of the internationally recognised Veeranganakumari Solanki, Maxa Zoller and Isin Onol, as well as TRIAD’s two directors Mariateresa Setaro and Irene Due. The pieces are selected by a rigorous process, which considers the work within a broad cultural context.

The prize itself takes the form of a curated exhibition, giving the winning artists the chance to advance their careers by exhibiting their work in London, arguably the most dynamic centre of the professional art world. By exhibiting in this way artists gain a valuable opportunity to reach a targeted international audience of art professionals, institutions and collectors. It is within this framework that artists will achieve international visibility and institutional versatility.
